With a background in motor sport, Race Shock Specialists was created to fulfill a need in the market to service and build race suspensions. Race Shock Specialists also service and repair imported coil-over kits form Japan and Asia.
2009 Class two national Champion.
2010 National Class 2 Short coarse Champion.
Today the workshop has two fully trained Suspension and wheel alignment technicians. We also carry the latest wheel alignment machines. For those who require a full shock service we have a SPA dyno. Bilstein Regas machine.

Anthony Hewitt is the owner of Race Shock Specialists and an expert suspension technician himself. He has over 16 years building and turning shock absorbers.
After 12 years of working for one of New Zealands’ largest suspension importers and Bilstein NZ agencies, Anthony Hewitt established his own specialist suspension shop in 2005.
